Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions about color analysis or what to expect at your session? You’ll find answers to some of the most common questions below.
What is seasonal color analysis?
Seasonal color analysis is a personalized process that identifies the colors that best complement your natural skin tone, hair, and eyes. Wearing your best colors helps you look more vibrant, rested, and confident without changing who you are.

What happens during a Truly Hue color analysis?
During your session, I use professional color drapes to observe how different colors interact with your natural features. We identify your color season and discuss how to use your colors in clothing, accessories, and everyday life in a practical, approachable way.

How long does a color analysis session take?
Most full color analysis sessions last about 90 minutes. Mini sessions, color analysis for two, and group experiences vary depending on the service you book.

Is color analysis worth it?
Most clients find color analysis saves time, money, and frustration when shopping or getting dressed. Knowing your best colors brings clarity to your wardrobe and makes outfit choices feel easier and more intentional.

Can color analysis help with wardrobe overwhelm?
Yes. Understanding your color palette helps narrow choices and eliminate items that don’t support you. This often leads to a more cohesive, functional wardrobe and less decision fatigue.

Will color analysis help with makeup choices?
Yes. During your session, we talk about how your color palette translates to makeup, including flattering shades for lipstick, blush, and eye makeup. I help you understand which colors in your palette tend to work best so choosing makeup feels simpler and more intuitive. Feel free to bring your make up along to your session to check make up shades.

Do you offer in-person color analysis in Bucks County, PA?
Yes. My studio is located in Perkasie, Pennsylvania, and I serve clients throughout Bucks County, Montgomery County, the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. In-home sessions and group events are also available.

What should I wear or bring to my appointment?
If possible, wear little or no makeup and pull your hair back so your natural coloring is easy to see. Contact lenses can be helpful, as glasses may slightly interfere with observing color changes. Bring reading glasses if you need them. There’s nothing special you need to prepare — just come as you are.

Do you offer group sessions or color analysis parties?
Yes, I offer small-group color analysis parties for groups of five or more. These are arranged separately and held during daylight hours. Please reach out through the contact form for details.

Will I receive tools to use my colors after the session?
Yes. After your session, you’ll receive a printed color fan with approximately 90–100 colors specific to your season. I also follow up by email with additional details and guidance so you can easily revisit what we discussed and apply your colors confidently when shopping or planning your wardrobe.

Is Color Analysis only for women?
Not at all. Although most of my clients are women, color analysis is beneficial for anyone who wants to understand which colors suit them best. In fact, I’ve worked with men as well — including my husband, brother-in-law, and cousins — who’ve seen firsthand how the right colors can make a difference.
