The Seasonal Color
Analysis Process
Janine | Truly Hue
Seasonal Color Analysis is a powerful tool that helps you discover the shades that naturally enhance your features, boost your confidence, and reflect your authentic self. By learning your ideal color palette, you’ll be able to choose clothing, accessories, and makeup that make you look and feel your best every day. Located in Bucks County, I guide clients through a personalized process that takes the guesswork out of shopping and getting dressed.Curious what the process looks like? Keep reading to see each step of a Truly Hue Color Analysis.

01
Appointment & Preparation
Your color analysis journey begins with scheduling an appointment. I offer sessions at my home studio in Perkasie, PA, or I can arrange to come to your home if you prefer. To ensure the most accurate results, please come makeup-free with your hair pulled back, if possible. The session typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours, so be prepared for a relaxing and insightful experience.

02
Draping and Skin Tone Assessment
During your session, I will assess your unique skin tone and ask a few questions to get to know you better. We'll explore how different colors interact with your complexion by draping a variety of colored fabrics. This step is all about discovering which shades make you glow, give you a fresh healthy appearance, minimize wrinkles and imperfections and reduce under-eye puffiness or dark circles
03
Seasonal Color Palette Reveal & How to Use It
At the end of the session, I’ll reveal your seasonal color palette and offer personalized advice on how to incorporate these colors into your wardrobe. You’ll also receive a handy color fan with about 100 different color swatch choices to take home. But the support doesn’t stop there - I’ll follow up with a series of emails and digital tools to help you embrace your season and make the most of your newfound color knowledge. If you're interested, I also offer a wardrobe editing service to help you refine your closet.

Four Seasons - A lifetime of Color
At Truly Hue, color analysis begins with the four seasonal color families: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. This approach provides a clear, intuitive foundation that makes color easier to understand and apply in everyday life.
My focus is on your natural skin tone and how color responds to it, rather than on features like hair or eye color that may change over time. Once your season is identified, I guide you toward the most harmonious shades within that palette, based on your unique coloring and how you want to use color in real life.
Rather than placing strict limits on what you can wear, my goal is to help you recognize your best colors, understand why they work, and feel empowered to choose them with confidence as your style evolves.
